Spring Hill College welcomes Mobile native Hallet Dunn to the Office of Alumni Programs. Dunn, who began work on campus Aug. 8, says she’s thrilled to be part of the Badger family.

Dunn, who attended McGill-Toolen Catholic High School and St. Ignatius Catholic School in Mobile, graduated from Louisiana State University in May 2012. A dual English and political science major, Dunn most recently worked in the Czech Republic as an English instructor and editor for Axial Human Resources Agency. Prior to her time in Prague, Dunn served as an event coordinator for Projects with Purpose in New Orleans, La.

“I could not be more excited to join the wonderful team here at Spring Hill College,” said Dunn. “It’s a place that has marked my life with fondest memories, from playing the piano in St. Joseph Chapel to riding bikes around this beautiful campus since I was old enough to cross Dauphin Street. I’m grateful for the opportunity to perpetuate the legacy of this amazing institution, and I look forward to all of the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead.”

Monde Donaldson, director of alumni programs, says that Dunn is a perfect fit for Spring Hill College. “We are so pleased to have Hallet join the staff,” said Donaldson. “She has a vast range of experience in event planning and has many community contacts in Mobile and Louisiana. Alumni can expect a greater social media presence with her on board.”

Dunn’s responsibilities will include Homecoming on the Hill, scheduled for April 4-6, 2014, and the annual Spring Hill College phone-a-thon, as well as various chapter activities and functions.

Throughout the year, the Spring Hill College National Alumni Association hosts events in cities around the country. To find out if an event is planned in your area, check out the alumni association calendar of events for a complete listing.

Spring Hill College alumni chapters are established to strengthen the relationships alumni have with each other and the College. If you would like to become an active member in an established chapter or volunteer to plan events, send an email to Hallet Dunn at or contact the Office of Alumni Programs at 877-SPR-HILL.
